Nicole Hewitt (UK/Croatia) is a visual artist working in film, video, installation, and performance. She graduated from Brighton Art College and completed her MA in Fine Art Media at the Slade School of Fine Art, where she also attained her PhD in Fine Art. Her work concerns memory, history, and narrative as mediated through technologies of representation and preservation. She is part of the Soundspeak collective with Ivan Slipčević and Vida Guzmić. Hewitt lives in Zagreb and teaches in the Department of Animated Film and New Media at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb.
