Renske Maria van Dam (Netherlands) is an architect and a creative researcher. Her participatory and performative interventions emerge from long-term anthropological and sensuous fieldwork. She considers architecture to be the greatest tool available to our species, both as a means to understand and construct itself differently. Van Dam graduated in Architecture from the Technical University Delft. Before starting her own practice, she worked for architectuurstudio Herman Hertzberger, Amsterdam, and Atelier Li Xiaodong, Beijing. From 2009 to 2011, she was part of Vision Included, a co-initiated and pro-active design practice and discussion platform. From 2013 to 2016 she was part of ALEPH, a co-initiated artistic research laboratory for the exploration of progressive heuristics, focusing on philosophy as creative practice. She started her doctoral research at KU Leuven in 2017. www.renskemaria.com
