Olga Micińska

Artist, Educator and Woodworker

Olga Micińska is an artist, educator, and woodworker. Her work blends hands-on craft with imaginative storytelling, creating spaces for collaboration, learning, and the sharing of resources.

As founder of The Building Institute, Micińska explores how art can be used as an educational tool. The experimental platform reimagines the traditional apprenticeship and its empowering role in the technical trades.

She has been exhibited internationally, including at the 40th EVA International, the 14th Gwangju Biennale, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Tale of a Tub, West, Polana Institute, puntWG, Marwan Amsterdam, Thkio Ppalies, and CoMbO, among others. Micińska holds master’s degrees in Art Praxis from the Dutch Art Institute and in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
